Why Money is Dangerous and Beautiful

Money is at once a blessing and a curse. If I put money in the place where it must not be, if I ask money to be my personal savior, if money becomes the thing that I look to deliver to me identity and meaning and purpose and inner sense of well-being, the thing that gives me life, then money is a dangerous and damaging thing. But money also is a beautiful thing. It's a means that not only provides for me, but employs me to be a tool of blessing and grace in the lives of others, to give my resources to the greater work of God's kingdom.

What Money Can Do

It's a beautiful thing how you can relieve burdens of people through money, how you can bless people through money, how you can fuel the gospel through money. I love what money can do, but I'm scared of putting money in a place where only God should be.
