How we handle your information and the choices available to you.

1. Introduction

Welcome to PaulTripp.com (the “Site”). The Site is owned and operated by Paul Tripp Ministries, Inc. (“PTM,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization incorporated in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (EIN: 83-0461061). This Privacy Policy also applies to our other ministry properties, including but not limited to DiscipleshipPlaybook.com and StreetLevelChristianity.com (together with the Site, the “Services”). Our Services are designed to connect the transforming power of Jesus Christ to everyday life through the writing and teaching of Dr. Paul David Tripp.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights available to you. By using the Services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Services.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The “Last Updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on this page, and where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain your consent. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information, depending on how you interact with the Services:

Identifiers: name, email address, mailing address, phone number.
Payment and transaction information: credit/debit card details (processed by our payment processor — see Section 6), order history, billing and shipping information.
Donation information: donor name, contact information, and giving history, where you make a gift to PTM.
Communications: messages you send us, prayer requests, comments, and customer support inquiries.
SMS/text messaging information: your mobile number and message preferences, if you opt in to our text messaging program (see Section 10).
Technical and usage data: IP address, browser type and version, device information, pages visited, time and date of visits, referring URLs, and similar log file data.
Cookie and pixel data: information collected through cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies (see Section 7).

We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, or other special categories of sensitive information through the Services.

3. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in violation of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the information in Section 15.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Process orders, donations, and payments, and fulfill and ship purchased resources.
Communicate with you, including responding to inquiries, sending receipts, and providing customer or donor support.
Send newsletters, ministry updates, and promotional communications, where you have opted in or as otherwise permitted by law.
Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services, including analyzing site usage and trends.
Comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms and Conditions, and protect the rights, property, and safety of PTM, our users, and others.
Send SMS/text messages, where you have opted in, as described in Section 10.

5. Our Commitment to Your Privacy

PTM is the sole owner of the information collected through the Services. We will never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may disclose information only as described in Section 6, or where necessary to comply with a court order or other legal process, protect our rights or property, protect the safety and security of our users, or enforce our Terms and Conditions.

Access to personal information is limited to authorized employees, agents, and contractors who have agreed to keep such information secure and confidential and who need it to perform their job functions. All emails and newsletters from PTM include a mechanism to opt out of future mailings.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with the following categories of third parties, solely to operate the Services:

Payment processors, to securely process credit/debit card transactions and donations.
Email and communications platforms, to send newsletters, receipts, and ministry communications.
Analytics and advertising technology providers (such as Google Analytics and the Facebook Pixel), to help us understand Site usage and, where applicable, deliver relevant advertising (see Section 7).
Shipping and fulfillment providers, to deliver physical products.
Professional advisors (such as legal, accounting, or IT service providers) bound by confidentiality obligations.
Government authorities or other parties, where required to comply with law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of PTM or others.

These service providers are contractually restricted from using your information for any purpose other than providing services to PTM.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Cookies

The Services may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to gather information such as browser type, operating system, number of visitors, and how visitors use the Services, and to help customize your experience. Personal information is not collected through cookies alone; however, if you have previously provided personal information, cookies may be associated with that information.

Most cookies are “session cookies” that are deleted when you end your browsing session. “Persistent cookies” remain until they expire or you delete them. You can manage or delete cookies through your browser's security settings, and you can generally set your browser to refuse cookies. Doing so may affect the functionality of the Services.

Facebook Pixel

The Services use the Facebook Pixel, which allows Facebook to track certain behavior on the Services if you are logged into Facebook. Facebook may link this information to your Facebook account and use it for its own purposes in accordance with Facebook's Data Policy (available at facebook.com/policy.php). You can object to data collection via the Facebook Pixel, or to the use of your data for Facebook advertising, by adjusting your ad preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences.

Analytics

We use analytics tools, including Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the Services. You may opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

We also use search and resource-view activity to provide popular searches and resource recommendations. This feature uses a randomly generated browser identifier that changes daily. Its activity records do not store arbitrary search text or raw IP addresses. Individual activity records are retained for up to approximately two days, and aggregate counts expire after eight days. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control disable activity collection for this feature.

8. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, which may include the right to:

Know what personal information we have collected about you and how it has been used and disclosed.
Request access to, or a copy of, your personal information.
Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions (such as information we must retain for legal, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes).
Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information. PTM does not sell personal information. To the extent our use of analytics or advertising technologies (such as the Facebook Pixel) may be considered “sharing” under applicable law, you may opt out using the mechanisms described in Section 7 or by contacting us directly.
Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information in Section 15. We will respond to verifiable requests within the time required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before completing your request.

Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have additional rights under those laws; we will honor applicable rights consistent with the requirements of your state of residence.

9. European and UK Users (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the following additional terms apply to our processing of your personal information under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR.

Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal information on the following legal bases, as applicable:

Consent — for marketing emails and SMS/text messages, and for non-essential cookies and tracking technologies such as the Facebook Pixel.
Performance of a contract — to process purchases, orders, and shipping.
Legitimate interests — to operate, secure, and improve the Services, provided those interests are not overridden by your data protection rights.
Legal obligation — to comply with applicable tax, accounting, and recordkeeping requirements.

Consent to Email and SMS Communications

Where we rely on your consent to send you marketing emails or SMS/text messages, that consent is collected separately for each channel — signing up for email updates does not automatically opt you into SMS messages, and vice versa. Consent is not bundled with any other agreement or pre-selected on your behalf. You may withdraw your consent to either channel at any time, as easily as you gave it, using the unsubscribe or STOP mechanisms described in this Privacy Policy, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before your withdrawal.

Your GDPR Rights

In addition to the rights described in Section 8, if GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, you have the right to:

Obtain confirmation of whether we process your personal information, and access a copy of it.
Request rectification of inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
Request erasure of your personal information (“right to be forgotten”), subject to certain legal exceptions.
Request restriction of processing in certain circumstances.
Receive your personal information in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, and request that we transmit it to another controller (“data portability”).
Object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and to object at any time to processing for direct marketing purposes.
Lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

We will respond to verifiable requests from EEA/UK/Swiss residents within one month, as required by GDPR, and may extend this period by up to two additional months for complex requests, with notice to you.

International Data Transfers

Because PTM is based in the United States, personal information from users located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland is transferred to and processed in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or equivalent mechanisms adopted by our service providers (including our email and SMS messaging platforms). You may request further information about these safeguards by contacting us using the information in Section 15.

10. SMS / Text Messaging Terms

The Paul Tripp Ministries, Inc. mobile message service (the “Service”) is operated by PTM. Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these terms (“Mobile Terms”). We may modify or cancel the Service, or these Mobile Terms, at any time; continued use after such changes constitutes your acceptance.

By consenting to PTM's SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from and on behalf of PTM through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if that number is registered on a state or federal Do Not Call list. Messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or similar technology. Service-related messages may include updates, alerts, and account information. Promotional messages may include specials, promotions, and other marketing offers.

You do not need to sign up for this program to make a purchase, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase with PTM. Participation is voluntary.

We do not charge for the Service, but you are responsible for any charges or fees imposed by your wireless provider. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless provider with questions about your plan.

You may opt out of the Service at any time by texting STOP to +1 (833) 400-0764, or by clicking the unsubscribe link (where available) in any text message. You will receive a one-time opt-out confirmation message, after which no further messages will be sent unless you initiate contact. If you have subscribed to multiple PTM messaging programs, you must opt out of each separately unless applicable law requires otherwise.

We may change the short code or telephone number used to operate the Service and will notify you of such changes. Messages, including STOP or HELP requests, sent to a changed number may not be received, and we are not responsible for honoring requests made in that manner.

Supported wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You agree to provide us with a valid mobile number and to notify us if that number changes. To the extent permitted by law, PTM is not liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of Service messages, errors in message content, or any action taken in reliance on such messages.

We will never sell, share, or rent mobile numbers or SMS consent data collected for the Service to any third party for marketing purposes, under any circumstances.

11. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Services, complete transactions, comply with our legal and tax obligations (including recordkeeping requirements applicable to nonprofit organizations), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and the purpose for which it was collected. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

12. Data Security

The security of your personal information is important to us. When you submit sensitive information through the Services, that information is protected both online and offline. Sensitive information submitted through the Services is encrypted using SSL (or comparable) encryption technology. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and take other steps as required by applicable law.

13. International Users

The Services are operated from the United States and available to users worldwide, including customers and subscribers outside the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those of your home jurisdiction. Users located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland should also refer to Section 9 above.

14. Third-Party Links

The Services may contain links to third-party websites that are not owned or controlled by PTM. This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected through the Services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites, and we encourage you to review the privacy policy of any website you visit.
