You know, as difficulty comes your way, you will get weary. And I want to talk about the comforts that you can grab a hold of, that you can run toward as you're facing things that are discouraging and hard. The first comfort is the comfort of God's grace, and, and, and I want to say it to you this way, you may grow weary, you may grow tired, you may feel like you're the in at the end of your rope. You may feel like you have nothing else to give. But God's grace is never weary. God's grace is never at the end of its rope. God's grace never feels like giving up hear these words.
Have You Not Known? Have You Not Heard?
Why do you say O Jacob and speak O Israel, my way is hidden from the Lord and my right is disregarded by my God. Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint and to him who has no might. He increases strength, even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men fall exhausted. But those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run and not be weary.
They shall walk and not be faint. Are you tired of being weary. Are you tired of feeling like you only have one choice? It's to give up. Are you tired of feeling like you have no strength? How about running to the one who is never tired, who is never faint, who never lacks strength, ever because the promise of this passage is you run to him. He loves meeting the faint. He loves putting his arms around the weary. He loves giving strength to those who are weak. He loves helping people who can barely walk to fly. It's not true. The difficulty always beats you down and leaves you weak.
It's just not true. In fact, this promise would tell you that that moment of difficulty can result in greater strength and vitality in you than you've ever known. You because maybe you've learned that you don't get strength for all those other things that are now laying in waste. You really get strength from your heavenly Father, and he says, Your way is never hidden from me. I know what's going on with you, and I will be your strength. Know the comfort of his strengthening grace. It never grows tired. It never grows weary. It never gives up. His grace is there for you.
Jesus died so you would know it and it gives you strength.
