Now, one of the things that we all struggle with is God has decided between the "already" and the "not yet" to leave us in this terribly broken world. And that brokenness will enter our door -- the brokenness of sin, the brokenness of marriage, the brokenness of parenting, the tough things we face in the workplace, sometimes feeling like an alien in the culture that we live in. And we drag all those distractions in On Sunday morning and sometimes it makes that getting anything out of a worship service like wrestling a wolverine.
Prepare Your Heart Beforehand
Wouldn't it be good then if beforehand, I would prepare my heart for the thing that I'm going to participate in, so I go in more ready, more settled, more expectant than I would without that preparation?
